My career in numismatics began when my parents gave me the blue Whitman coin folders to put my coins in. I loved looking through my change to see if I had the date I needed. It became an obsession for me. 

 

By the time I was in my early twenties it had become my passion. Going to local coin shops and coin shows and finding that special coin. I could look at coins and talk about coins with fellow collectors and dealers for hours on end.

 

And so, over the years, Douglas Robert Coin Rarities has evolved and my passion has now become my career and my career has become my passion. 

The respect I have for the rarity, historical importance and the quality of the coin are all key elements that keep me passionate and committed to my clients and the love I have for coins. I find myself very fortunate to love what I do for a living and I appreciate every moment.

Buying from DRCR is easy. I accept PayPal, personal checks, business checks, bank checks and money orders. Purchases made by personal or business check will be shipped once the check has cleared which can take up to 5-7 business days. I also will offer a lower price if paid via check. Bank checks, money orders and Paypal orders will ship within one business day after deposit. If you would like to use an alternative method of payment, other than Paypal, please use the Contact DRCR link and fill out the contact form.

All shipping is insured and shipped USPS. Depending on the value, they will be shipped registered and insured. USPS Express mail is available upon request and will require a signature upon delivery.

Unconditional Return Policy:

There is a 5 day return policy in place beginning the day you receive your coin. If you are not satisfied with the quality of the coin, please email or call me immediately to let me know which coins your will be returning and ship the coins back to me. Once I receive the coin, I will send an immediate refund in the full amount of the purchase price of the coin. It is recommended that you ship USPS registered and insured mail, (insure for the invoice amount).
