1934 PCGS MS-67+ (COIN 2) Walking Liberty Half Dollar. PCGS Certified. This beautiful gem has wonderful eye appeal and falls just short of the MS-68 grade. The main reason that kept this coin from a MS-68 grade is, the mark in the right field and the mark on the reverse, right below the eagles branch. This stunning gem has a sharp strike with wonderful peripheral color throughout both sides. From mint-green and powder-blue patina encircles brilliant centers. The branch hand and skirt lines are fully struck. The surfaces have vibrant, satiny mint luster and for the most part remain nearly mark free. POP 13! with only 8 coins graded higher. 1936 PCGS MS-66 (OGH) Walking Liberty Half Dollar. PCGS Certified. It has also been approved by CAC to be a Superior coin for the grade. OLD GREEN HOLDER! This coin definitely deserves to be regraded and I would bet money it will at least grade a MS-67 today. First thing that impressed me about this coin was the strike, its very strong and sharply struck, not to mention it's well above what you normally find for a MS-66 and it's literally nicer than most MS-67's. This golden gem has smooth and satiny skin along with exceptional eye appeal. Sharply struck skirt lines, solid head definition, needle sharp breast feathers, the branch hand is one of the strongest I've seen with a fully split thumb and forefinger. Another thing I was surprised to see was that the eagles trail leg is fully struck which is rarely ever seen. The surfaces are booming with mint luster and remain simply pristine, only a light tick or two can be noticed. OLD GREEN HOLDER! I can't stress enough on the quality of this coin and how you just don't find strikes like this anywhere near a MS-66 in today's grading standards.
